INTRODUCTION - OVERVIEWS

Yemen Republic covered about 536, 869 sq. km and of a population of over 18,000,000 situated at Southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula close to Saudi Arabia to the north (there are regular land and air transportation), and Oman to the east (An Internation road under establishment to connect Oman with Yemen).

Yemen has long shores all over the Red Sea including the South entrance "Bab Al-Mandab" i.e. "Gate of Lament" which separates the Peninsula from the African continent. And over the Arabian Sea with a direct access to the Indian Ocean with many tourist islands all around (its worthwhile mentioning a film produced by KOSTO was nicely show under the sea living in HUNAISH ISLAND (1335 ft height above sea level precisely indicated possibility to establish DIVING CENTER, (DIVE TRAVEL) A German investor encouraged to apply to establish a Tourist Center there. The execution was delayed because of the attack of Eritirean on the Island.

Until the outcome of ARBITRATION, the undersigned believe to start such project somewhere else and have some suitable places in mind which could be revealed to the interested parties where treasures under the waves.

It is worthwhile mentioning also the recently discovery of the ancient port in SHEHER before the Islamic period. Italian Archeological Expedition has the concession under the sea. (Very ancient famous sinked sea port and ships under waves) around Qana, (Bir 'Ali). The principal SOUTHERN POINT OF INCENSE ROUTE where HUSAN Al-Ghurab (Crow Fortress) and 1st century TEMPLE, the best preserved sights. Very enthusiastically INVITE TOURIST experts as well as financers to join us to establish such diving PROJECTS.

Mukalla NEW SEA PORT will be built at Burum where a berth for Sea-Passengers can handle receipt of tourists as well. Canadian Mining Company "MENORA" at "WADI-MODEN" 15 miles North of our site involved in Gold Production.

Historically Yemen is well known since old ages and mentioned in the Holy Qur'an several times. The remaining of antiquities (my records have information that could be provided upon request). Now there are over 17 Multinational Archeological Teams making scientific research and studies on various cities all over the Yemen and the more discoveries the more importancy of Yemen in Tourism MAP.

Yemeni Architectural are different from province to province or age to age (See relevant Appendix) as an example.

Above factors by itself are sufficient to consider tourism among the main sectors of national income derived foreign currencies. (Under relevant Appendix) please refer to data of tourists visited Yemen from 1988 through 1992. Total tourists in 1992 totalled to 72, 164 spent over US $46,906,600. Please peruse extract of Asharq Al-Awsat regarding the Ministry of Tourism records indicates total number of tourists visiting Yemen during 1997 will reach 120,000 tourists compared to 73,000 tourists 1996, over 3,700 European Tourists celebrated the 1998 New Year in the Desert, riding camel caravans, etc. The Ministry estimates the total annual number could reach 500,000 tourist after 2 years in according to the current arrangements and bookings indications. Therefore, the undersigned estimates their spendings over 3 billion dollars.

New Division of Regions:

Mukalla & Seiyun will be separated into two GOVERNORATES, perhaps other provinces from the North possibly will be added which contains or close to the most interested ancient cities.

Government 5 years Comprehensive Plan worth over 1.8 billion dollars mostly touched all infrastructural areas covered all provinces is another factor to plan on tourism sector when entering the pleasant century very comfortably matching other worldwide activities.

We admit there are still unlikely negative behaviours such as kidnapping tourists, etc. which has our most concern and regret. We are confident, as we are aware of the circumstances and the Government concern to solve these problems wisely soon and forever. So, we shall proceed, prudently and cautiously can avoid the risks, besides the government has majority of publics' support to achieve its aim. Live Yemen!
